Our Love Story
The day Williams first approached Queen is remembered vividly, like the first note of a beautiful song. He attended Queen’s church during an evening outreach, and that was when Williams cited Queen. After their encounter, she was amazed at the level of Williams’s commitment to the church. The year was 2008, and it was a Sunday. As the choir sang, his voice stood out, weaving through the air like a golden thread, captivating Queen from the crowd. She was struck by the sight of a young man whose devotion to the Lord was unwavering, a lighthouse in a stormy sea. His commitment to serving the church was admirable, especially considering how rare it was to encounter someone in their twenties so dedicated to God.
After the competition, as Queen made her way home, he came up to her, a shy smile on his face, and introduced himself, igniting the first spark of a fire that would warm them for years to come. That was the beginning of everything.
Williams believed Queen was the perfect woman for him, seeing in her a potential she hadn’t often been praised of. She liked the sound of it. To her, his embellishment was a melody that lingered sweetly in her mind. They shared many things in common, including their struggles to get an education and their willingness to work menial jobs to meet their needs. They both loved good food and had a passion for fashion.

He would call her three to four times a day to check on her and make sure she had eaten. They both felt that they needed some time apart to figure themselves out and gain clarity on what they truly wanted from their relationship and from life. Taking this break was as painful as a beautiful song suddenly going silent, but it seemed necessary for both of them to grow individually and understand their own needs and desires before they could hope to come back together stronger.
They knew their love was rare and irreplaceable, like a precious gemstone. Over the years, life taught them many lessons.
They realized that after everything they’d been through, it was almost impossible to go a day without thinking about each other, like a haunting refrain that never leaves. For Queen and Williams, love was more than a feeling; it was the core of their existence, a cosmic dance that reached beyond time and space, an unbreakable bond that would last beyond the stars.
Half a decade later, they reconnected, and the spark between them reignited, a long-forgotten song suddenly heard again. Williams always knew he’d be her husband, and in hindsight, a part of Queen believed that too.
Reflecting on their past arguments, they berated themselves but also acknowledged that the time apart was necessary. Now, their love is stronger; they are both wiser and more mature. Their passion for God remains intact, providing a solid foundation for their renewed relationship.
However, life always has other plans, and they currently find themselves living in different countries, once again in a long-distance relationship. But this time, they’re determined to make it work. They’ve learned from their past experiences, and they’re committed to sealing everything this time around, like two notes destined to create a perfect harmony.
